High school sweethearts Ron and Caryl McAdoo began writing in the late '80s, discovered DFW Writers' Workshop in 1993, and now have seven titles for adults and children, fiction and non, published by four different presses. They often speak on their journey to success and teach elements of creative writing to audiences large and small including writers' groups or seminars, public and private schools, libraries, and civic organizations.

A big portion of their everyday is spent caring for and training their horses and a herd of Nigerian dwarf goats who also live at their River Bottom Ranch. Until recently, all their children and ten of twelve grandchildren lived in the same neighborhood less than a half-mile apart. For this and every good blessing, they credit their relationship with Jesus Christ. The McAdoos are lifetime residents of Irving, Texas.
